In a delightful revelation for comedy enthusiasts, Paresh Rawal spilled the beans on the much-anticipated ‘Hera Pheri 3’ in a recent interview. The veteran actor, known for his impeccable comic timing, shared that the third installment of the iconic ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise is slated to hit the screens by the end of 2024.
Rawal expressed his excitement, stating, “Hera Pheri 3 will arrive next year, somewhere towards the end of 2024. The shoot will begin next year.” As the film is currently in production, fans can anticipate the return of the beloved trio – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal – reprising their iconic roles as Raju, Ghanshyam, and Babu bhaiya.
Reflecting on the camaraderie among the trio, Rawal, in an earlier interaction with IndiaToday.in, emphasized the mutual respect and understanding they share. Following the success of ‘Hera Pheri,’ our collaboration continued in numerous films, fostering a deep mutual respect as artists, individuals, and friends. Each one of us including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and me are secure actors. We share a clear understanding of our roles; it’s not an ambiguous space where expectations are uncertain. We are well aware of what needs to be portrayed in our characters, navigating the intricacies seamlessly,” he conveyed.
In addition to the excitement surrounding ‘Hera Pheri 3,’ Paresh Rawal also touched upon his conscious decision to engage in family entertainers. With ‘Welcome 3’ in the pipeline, Rawal highlighted his aversion to vulgar content and expressed disdain for the trend during the lockdown, where families were subjected to unnecessary explicit language in certain OTT releases.
“I don’t like anything vulgar. A lot of our families were stuck at home during the lockdown, and the kind of films that were releasing on OTT, unnecessary abuses were being hurled. It made no sense. Now where will families go with all of their stress? I feel disgusted, so I like to stay away from such content,” he affirmed.
As fans eagerly await the laughter riot of ‘Hera Pheri 3,’ Paresh Rawal continues to bring his signature charm to the silver screen, with recent appearances in ‘Shastry Virudh Shastry’ and ‘Aankh Micholi.’ The countdown to the end of 2024 just got a lot more exciting for Bollywood comedy aficionados!
