In the early hours of Friday, Jaipur experienced three earthquakes within a span of half an hour. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) has recorded that the most recent earthquake was measured at a magnitude of 3.4, at early morning 4:25 a.m. The earthquake was recorded to be at a depth of 10 kilometres.
The NCS later tweeted the details of the earthquake informing that the Magnitude of the earthquake was 3.4, on 21st July 2023 at 04:25:33 IST, Latitude: 26.87, Longitude: 75.69, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Before this, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 was felt at a depth of 5 kilometres at 4:22 a.m

According to the data from the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the initial earthquake, measuring a magnitude of 4.4, struck the capital of Rajasthan at 4:09 a.m., at a shallow depth of 10 kilometres. Subsequently, another tremor with a magnitude of 3.1 occurred at 4:22 a.m., reaching a depth of 5 kilometres. PTI reports confirmed that tremors were felt in various areas of the city.
The former chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje communicated with the people via Twitter saying that there were strong tremors felt in Jaipur and tweeted “I hope you are all safe!”.
