RCB to do IPL-WPL double? Michael Vaughan feels 2024 could be the year

After the women’s team’s final victory on Sunday, March 17, former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that Royal Challengers Bangalore could end up doing an IPL and Women’s Premier League (WPL) double.

RCB ended a 16-year title drought when they defeated the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitly stadium to win their first WPL title. The team was led by Smriti Mandhana.

Apart from expressing his congratulations to the team on X, Vaughan provided a fascinating forecast for the upcoming IPL 2024 season.

The Delhi Capitals were defeated by RCB in a thrilling match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, securing RCB’s first-ever WPL championship. A lot of very good cricket was played in the final, particularly by the RCB team, who dominated the match to win by eight wickets.
