A cricketer Risabh Pant has planned to give a surprise to his mother at home but made his life in danger when he got drowsy while driving and his car hit the divider to avoid the pothole on the Delhi- Dehradun Highway, near Roorkie at his hometown. The massive accident occurred around 5:30 in the morning. The cricketer miraculously survived. He was seriously injured and his car burst out.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who visited Risabh Pant at Max Hospital, Dehradun, said that Cricketer had seen a Pothole and lost his balance while driving. On other hand, Delhi and District Cricket Association director, Shyam Sharma also visited Pant at Max Hospital and told media Persons as same as Uttarakhand chief minister said. On Friday, the cricketer had told the Haridwar Police that he dozed off at wheel and lost the balance of the car which resulted in an accident.
The Uttarakhand Police on Saturday said that the Pant was not speeding as well as not under the influence of Alcohol while driving.
A cricketer has got several injuries on his forehead and right knee and lots of scratching on his back. He was rescued by the Bus Driver and Conductor of the Haryana Roadways bus.
The Chief Minister announced that his government will honor the both Bus driver and Conductor for their bravery to saved the life of a cricketer, on Republic day. He also took updates on Pant’s health condition from his mother, sister, and doctors. He assured the cricketer’s family that the state government will give all help for his treatment. Not only this, NHAI Project director, Roorkee P.S Gusain denied for pothole but accepted that there were road undulations that their team try to solve. Everyone prayers for the Cricketers’ speedy recovery.
