The complete Women’s Premier League 2024 schedule has been released, with the Delhi Capitals and last year’s winners, the Mumbai Indians, playing their opening game at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The WPL 2024 season is slated to start on February 23 and conclude in New Delhi on March 17 with the championship game.
The Women’s Premier League will feature 22 games in total this season. The last game will take place at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on March 17. Every game will begin at 7:30 p.m. On March 15, the eliminator will take place.
The top three teams in the league stage will advance to the playoffs in the 2024 WPL season, which will operate under the same schedule as the previous one. The team that tops the league table advances directly to the championship game, while the second and third-place teams compete in the Eliminator on March 15.
The Mumbai Indians, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, defeated the Delhi Capitals by seven wickets to win the inaugural WPL season the previous year.
Meg Lanning, the captain of DC, finished with 345 runs to win the tournament’s top run scorer. Hayley Mathews of MI won the Purple Cap after taking 16 wickets in 10 games.
