At the age of 66, veteran actor-writer-director, Satish Kaushik passed away in Gurugram

On the 9th Match veteran actor-writer-director, Satish Kaushik passed in Gurugram. After Postmortem this body will be brought to Mumbai for the final ritual.
Satish Kaushik was born on April 13, 1956. The character of Calendar in Shekhar Kapur’s Mr India was his breakout role. He also made an impact with early releases like Jaane Bhi Do Yaro, Mandi and Woh 7 Din.
He made a transition to direction with Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. Some of his popular directed films are Tere Naam and Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain.
His best friend from industry Anupam Kheer Twitter about the sad news along with a black and white photo of both stating, “I know ‘death is the ultimate truth of this world’ But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”
Kangna Ranawat also Tweeted the sad news and said, “Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor and director #SatishKaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man, I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti.”
