Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s Bhediya hold strong at the box office. The fifth-day collection stands at around Rs 35-36 crore and is expected to end its one-week theatrical run with a collection of Rs 40-45 crore. It is a horror-comedy movie directed by Amar Kaushik of Stree fame. The story of the movie revolves around Bhaskar (portrayed by Varun Dhawan), who transforms into a werewolf after he is bitten by a mythical wolf. The other castes in the movie include Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee and Paalin Kabak. Apart from this Shraddha Kapoor, who played the female lead in Stree, also has a cameo in the film. Bhediya is dubbed in Telugu as Thodelu. The film’s music is scored by Sachin-Jigar, while Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics for the entire album. The movie clashed at the box office with Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2, which hit the theatres a week before.
