On Christmas, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” and Prabhas’ eagerly anticipated movie “Salaar” will both be released. The movie was rescheduled from September 28 to October 1.
Due to technical difficulties, the premiere date for Prabhas’ much awaited movie “Salaar” has been delayed. The movie’s release date has apparently been moved up to Christmas from its original September 28 release date. It now faces off against Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki,” which has already gotten the Christmas release date.
On Instagram, trade expert Taran Adarsh verified the information and stated that “Salaar” is anticipated to debut on December 22, 2023, the same day as “Dunki.” This is not the first time that two films competing for Christmas viewers have clashed; in 2018, Khan’s “Zero” and “KGF” from Hombale Films did so.
According to a correspondence sent to the exhibitors on December 22nd, 2023, Salaar will arrive THIS CHRISTMAS. On Friday, September 29, 2023, the producers, HombaleFilms, will make a formal announcement. This is the second time that HombaleFilms and SRK are at odds. 2018’s [Christmas] first segment featured Zero vs. KGF. Christmas [22 December 2023] had already been booked for Dunki by SRK, and now Prabhas has staked a claim as well.
In addition to Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Meenakshi Chaudhary, among others, it also has these individuals in significant parts. Fans eagerly anticipate the highly anticipated picture. “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire,” the first film in the pan-Indian series, is marketed as an expensive action adventure. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur and directed by Prashanth Neel, well known for the “KGF” film series. “In due course, the new release date will be made public. Thank you for being a part of this amazing adventure, and please stick with us as we finish up #SalaarCeaseFire,” Hombale Films added. ‘Salaar’ may be released in November or December, according to some media reports. Soon, an official date is anticipated.
With Taapsee Pannu playing a crucial role, Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film “Dunki”, it would mark the actor’s first-ever association with director Rajkumar Hirani. Although there had been rumors that “Dunki” would not open until Christmas, the actor formally announced this during the “Jawan” success meeting.
