And there is good news for the die-hard Rajinikanth fans. On August 10, many businesses in Bengaluru and Chennai, his home state, declared staff holidays.
Due to its promos, the movie has already generated a lot of excitement. The ‘Jailer’ frenzy that has engulfed Superstar Rajinikanth has made it to New York City’s prestigious Times Square. Over 90% of screens are expected to be dominated by the widely awaited “Jailer” on its opening day in the home state, possibly delivering a record-breaking start for the movie.
The film should perform well abroad as well. Jailer is on course to have the largest number of premieres for an Indian film in 2023, according to movie distributor Venky Reviews in the USA. According to reports, it has over Rs 10 Cr in overseas advance reservations.

Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan all play significant roles in the film, which also features a stellar ensemble cast.
