The Variety editor is responsible for making Hollywood’s Bible predictions for the Oscars and Emmys has great news for the makers of ‘RRR’. This film is a close runner-up to Lukas Dhont’s 2022 film “Close” in the best picture categories. The director of the film, S.S Rajamouli is a runner-up for the best director; he gets an honourable mention and is topped by Todd Field, the helmer of the highly anticipated film ‘Tar.’ The actor of RRR, Jr.NTR has also received an honourable mention for best actor in the leading role. As per Davis’s shortlist, Vijayendra Prasad, the film’s screenplay writer is on another list of honourable mentions for original screenplay, so is Sabu Cyril, for Production Design, and A. Sreekar Prasad for Film Editing. KK Senthil Kumar was also shortlisted for Best Cinematography. Moreover, the music composer of RRR, MM Keeravani is selected for the original score. This film was again shortlisted for visual effects and got an honourable mention for its sound. This blockbuster film seems to be best loved by magazines that have been reporting on world cinema for more than a century.
