Gadar 2 is set to release on the 11th of August. It is an action-packed movie directed by Anil Sharma. While launching the teaser trailer for the upcoming movie Sunny Deol stated “ Tara Singh is back”. The movie is supposed to be shot in the era of 1971, during the period of partition.
Looking at the teaser the audience can see Sunny Deol is ready for an action sequence with Gadar 2 with his leading lady Ameesha Patel and her voice-over.
In the movie Sunny Deol’s character Tara Singh is mentioned as “ Damaad hai ye Pakistan ka” which can be heard as soon as the teaser begins.

The movie is about a Sikh truck driver named Tara Singh who eventually is in love with a Muslim girl named Sakina who belonged to a political family in Lahore, Pakistan. The lead role in the movie is given to Utkarsh Sharma.
According to the date August 11 mentioned in the teaser, suggests that it will clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s starer movie “Animal” which also stars Sunny Deol’s brother Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor along with Rashmika Mandanna. Along with Animal and Gadar 2, on 11the August “Heart of Stone” that is Alia Bhatt’s Hollywood debut is set t release on the same day.
