Reliance Jio is set to introduce its wireless internet solution called Jio AirFiber on September 19. This service is designed for both households and offices, with speeds up to 1.5 Gbps, making it ideal for smooth high-definition video streaming, online gaming, and lag-free video conferencing. Mukesh Ambani, the chairperson and managing director of Reliance Industries, revealed during the 2023 AGM that Jio AirFiber would go live on Ganesh Chaturthi.
Jio AirFiber also includes parental controls, Wi-Fi 6 capability, and an integrated security firewall. It is worth noting that the Jio AirFiber service was first launched at the company’s 45th annual general meeting last year.

Jio AirFiber is said to provide internet speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps, exceeding Jio Fiber’s 1 Gbps speed. It is crucial to note, however, that the real speed of Jio AirFiber may vary depending on the distance from the nearest tower.
Jio AirFiber is likely to be priced, with a starting price of approximately 6,000. Because of the presence of a portable device unit, it may be slightly more expensive than a standard broadband connection.
