The first teaser for Shome Makhija’s film Blind, which stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead role and Purab Kohli in a key supporting part, has been released. The Sujoy Ghosh-financed film promises a captivating cat and mouse game between Sonam’s character, Jia, and Purab Kohli, who reportedly portrays the primary adversary. Sonam makes a promise to bring justice to the case of multiple missing women in Scotland in the brief promotional video, despite Purab’s character telling her to stay in her lane.

Prior to becoming pregnant with her first child, Vayu, Sonam Kapoor filmed the movie Blind. The actor previously stated, “It hasn’t affected work at all,” in an interview with indianexpress.com. It’s also a result of my decision to forgo working while pregnant. And I believe it was the finest choice because I was able to take some time off. I will be shooting for my films and a few other projects as soon as I return. Next month, the film Blind will be released. It was shot right before I became pregnant. There is therefore much to anticipate.
The movie, which also features Lillete Dubey and Vinay Pathak, will start streaming on JioCinema on July 7. Sonam Kapoor recently appeared in the Vikramaditya Motwane film AK vs. AK, when she made a lengthy cameo. Her father, actor Anil Kapoor, and director Anurag Kashyap played the key roles in the movie.
