India vs South Africa 3rd ODI – India win by 7 Wickets

India defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the third and deciding ODI at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Tuesday. The hosts thus sealed the three-match ODI series 2-1. Chasing a target of 100 runs in the final game, India comfortably reached home in. Earlier, Kuldeep Yadav registered figures of 4 for 18 in 4.1 overs as the hosts bundled out South Africa for 99 runs. For the guests, Heinrich Klaasen was the top scorer with a 34-run knock as seven South African batters got out for single-digit scores.

India captain Shikhar Dhawan has opted to bowl first. The hosts are the current champions, with both the T20I series and ODI series wins. They have now progressed to take on Australia for the final big event of this year’s cricket-playing. Mohd Siraj was voted as Player of the Series, after taking nine wickets in three games at an average of 15, including player-of going-on.  He says, with the new ball he tries to hit it early, but since it doesn’t swing as much he backs off after 15 overs.
