On Sunday, at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai, India women defeated Australia women in Super Over of their second T20I. India scored 20 for one in the said Super Over whereas Australia managed to score 16 for one.
With Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath scoring unbeatable half-centuries Australia’s final score was 187 for one in 20 overs. Mooney had made an outstanding mark of 82 runs off 54 balls whereas McGrath scored 70 runs off 51 balls. Deepti Sharma was the one who took a wicket for India.
With Richa Ghosh hitting four in the last ball India reached a score of 187 for five. Richa was unbeatable at 26 runs off 13 balls whereas Mandhana proved to be the anchor of the team scoring 79 runs off 49 balls.
